It’s no secret that Pantone has released their color of the year as “Emerald Green”. As a Chicago interior designer, I prefer a much softer green- Seafoam, the color just a shade more green than a Tiffany blue, will be everywhere soon.
It’s time to start updating your home and wardrobe for spring — and what better way to do so than with this refreshing hue. The spring fashion shows were full of hints of the sea. Whether it was Jessica Chastain serenading the crowds in the Calvin Klein Collection seafoam silk crepe halter dress at the 2013 Golden Globes, or the starfish-adorned gowns at Versace, the notion of the ocean is certainly au currant.
